About the Creators

Kate Pazzenese

Kate Pazzanese is an artist, illustrator and self proclaimed nerd living in Reading MA. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BA in Studio Arts: Animation. Though she dabbles in many forms of media, her most enjoyable mediums are watercolor and gouache. Kate credits her inspiration to the land, folklore, and the small details in everyday life that make it magical. Whenever she picks up a pencil or paintbrush, it is her intention to bring the outside inward. While nature is a prominent theme in her work, Kate is also fascinated by the mysterious and otherworldly. It is because of these interests that her work blends and creates a powerful dichotomy between the tension of reality and whimsy of fantasy. While not creating art, she can be found in local bookshops, sipping hot tea (even in the dead of summer) and playing Dungeons & Dragons with good friends.

Karenlyn Morse-Babb

Karenlyn Morse-Babb is inspired by dreams, nature, and a desire to explore spirituality and curiosity through art. With an emphasis on the abstract, she aspires to create visual poetry that evokes a sense of place and the interplay between finite and infinite time.
