About the Creators

Kristen Ledson

Kristen Ledson has lived in Ipswich for 38 years. Trained as a musician and dancer, she is always finding patterns in daily life. An award winning choreographer, her work has been seen in NYC, London, Edinburgh Festival, and throughout New England. Kristen  now adores her role as NanaKiki to Clarajane and Linnea. She also appears on stage at the Firehouse among other venues.

Kathleen Hartley

Kathleen Hartley thinks Ipswich is the best town she has ever lived in, and is living the life of an artist surrounded by the beauty of the natural world. After a career as a public school art teacher, she now dedicates her time and energy to creating paintings that connect viewers to the color and joy that surrounds us. Whether the subject is local landmarks, pet portraits or wild birds in their habitats, light and color are the underlying themes. Kath can often be found painting “plein aire” in locations on the north shore and visiting the Hall-Haskell House Gallery and its ever-changing exhibitions.
