About the Creators
Karin Stolle
Karin Stolle is a gardener, reader, and artist living on the North Shore. She is an art association member and has exhibited in local venues in the North Shore. Her passion for her garden and nature has inspired her to use pieces of her garden in her art through a process called Ecoprinting. She uses her ecoprints (natural dye images from plants) in her mixed media pieces on wood panels, on handmade note cards, and in altered book art journals.
Joan Wilking
Joan Wilking is an author, artist and graphic designer. Her award winning short stories and essays have been published in print and online. Her design career has spanned decades. Her art and ceramics have been more of an avocation. Her novella, Mycology, won the Wild Onion Novella Prize and was published in 2017. Her novel, A Sign of the Times, will be published in November of 2026 by Vine Leaves Press. You can read the short story that inspired it here.
