Water Around Us

Whether you swim in oceans vast,

Or splash in puddles with boots,

Let ponds and reservoirs quench.

Enter this place where water fills you.

The rivers running through our days,

Bring hope and life with gentle flow.

Walking barefoot in morning dew,

Lie down in what is green and still.

River, bay, ocean, pond, reservoir,

The green that is fed by water.

Let waters guide your every stride.

In grace, as gentle raindrops fall,

Thunder wakes the soul.

My paintings come from all that I experience and reflect nature’s profound effect on me.
