Hummingbird
I think I know
I think I have always known
Hands slip into
River water
Pebbles in my palms
I am a flower on your hummingbird trail
Not a nest for you
To flit inside of
And stay
Why do some people become a feather bed
And others the ones We drove away

Kinjal Elvira Koetsier
Hi, I am Kinjal and my artist name is Elvira. I am a self-taught artist. By education, I am a scientist but at heart, I have always been an artist. I enjoy the nature and love experiencing beautiful colors, shapes, textures that nature has to offer from pinecones to feathers and stones to flowers! My morning walks and sipping tea while observing the nature outside windows are my inspirations. I love sitting on my desk, play with colors and get lost in the present moment while experiencing magic flowing through me, transforming into beautiful illustrations. I truly feel that creating an art is to believe in the magic! Does this magic touch you too? :)
