Icky Stew / Palatable

Icky Stew

Last night I made an Icky Stew
And served it to my guests.
The first one said, “It’s different!”
The second one just left.
The third one said,
“Thank you, but I’m just not that hungry.”
The fourth one said, “I’d eat it all,
but I have an upset tummy.”
The fifth one said, “Please pass the salt,
the ketchup, and the pepper,
the mustard, and the mayonnaise,
and that jar of peanut butter!”
He poured and mixed and
shook and fixed,
and took a sniff or two,
Then picked up his little spoon
and ate my Icky Stew.
